About the Author
Penny Delamar has a unique breadth of experience having spent 10 years at the BBC, (among her numerous credits are Dad’s Army, Steptoe and Son, Z-Cars, The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix on Top of the Pops, David Copperfield and Midsummer Night’s Dream), followed by freelancing for 20 years on pop promos such as The Rolling Stone’s ‘Too much Blood’, commercials, photographic shoots and feature films. She served as personal make-up artist to Dudley Moore on Santa Claus – The Movie and to Nastassja Kinski on Revolution.

As principal of Delamar Academy, the most successful specialist Media Training Provider in the UK, she has trained a generation of top-class professional make-up artists. She counts Oscar and BAFTA winners among her graduates and her fellow teachers.
