This book is out of date and is an inaccurate reference for up to date stage work. The majority of diagrams are at least twenty years old and the techniques demonstrated in the book are no longer used in modern technical theater.
This book is thorough for secondary level. The corresponding workbook asks questions for which some answers cannot be found in the textbook. Together these books are a very good resource for a teacher who wants to write his or her own curriculum.
